Uh, yeah got that right

I'm not writing any papers related to the topic, but, uh yeah. You got that right. Isn't the scale off though? The size of Afghanistan, plus the terrain, plus super-duper nice neighbors, plus landlocked = really, really, really hard. Which, I knew you all knew that already. Needed stating though.

2. Schmedlap says, in response to Madhu:

Scale might be off, but consider the audience that this would be appropriate for. If they don't know that Iraq is significantly different from Afghanistan, then they probably don't know much else about the two countries either. Just one more reason why I never got along with "they."

3. says, in response to the original post:

Apples and oranges; both tree fruit but dissimilar in appearance and taste. All my life I heard "they" said this, "they" said that. Unfortunately, I never quite got to be they, but I came close. A good simple strategic point.

The nameless commenter exposes a gaping oversight in my code, making a mockery of my failure to implement a validator that checks for a username. I wave my clenched fist at teh internets.
