This video generates more questions than it answers
I saw the video below a while ago at SWJ. It is footage of the attack on Wanat last year, but it is taped from the perspective of the douche bags who carried out the attack. It includes footage of said douche bags walking through the COP after it had been abandoned by US forces. Notice how apparently unscathed the base appears to be. There is a pile of sandbags that appears to be not only well-intact, but very orderly and clean. The aid station and the storage bin for their canned food also appears to be unscathed. I don't get it. Did this base get resupplied and repaired before it was abandoned? Or did large parts of the base go untouched in the assault? Noteworthy is that the seemingly untouched sandbag wall is in the the platoon's 120mm mortar pit. The mortar pit was apparently struck during the attack - either with something that caused a fire or with continuous suppressive fire - (or am I confusing Wanat with Keating?). This video really confuses me.
